Proudly veteran-owned and operated, Mark has spent years fishing the waters of Maine and sharing that passion with anglers of all experience levels. As a licensed 100-Ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain, he brings a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer experience on every trip.
Specializing in both fly fishing and traditional tackle, Mark guides anglers across Maine’s lakes, rivers, and coastal waters in pursuit of striped bass, trout, salmon, and smallmouth bass. Each trip is tailored to the individual angler’s goals, whether it’s learning new techniques, landing a personal best, or simply enjoying a day on the water.

Our Boats
Mark operates a 2008 21-foot Pro-Line Center Console designed for fishing the waters of the Gulf of Maine. Conveniently moored in South Portland, the boat offers quick access to productive coastal waters and some of Maine’s premier striped bass fishing opportunities. Fully equipped for both fly fishing and traditional tackle, the vessel provides a stable, reliable, and comfortable platform for anglers of all experience levels. Operated by a licensed 100-Ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain, safety and professionalism are always the top priority. Whether casting flies along rocky shorelines or fishing traditional tackle around ledges, bait schools, and tidal waters, every trip is focused on delivering a memorable saltwater fishing experience along the Maine coast.
Mark also guides Maine’s inland rivers from a 2025 Hyde Low Profile Drift Boat, purpose-built for fly fishing and technical river navigation. Designed for shallow water performance and quiet maneuverability, the drift boat provides an ideal platform for pursuing trout, salmon, and smallmouth bass on Maine’s scenic rivers and remote stretches of moving water. Its low-profile design allows anglers to comfortably cast flies while maintaining excellent stability and control in varying river conditions. a
